E.g. (the above link):
Determined the problem, I believe i did any way the problem lies within the
bios with the vda44nr.bin Bios image from FIC has a conflict with Jaton TNT2
nvidia based graphics cards I have access to quite a few of these video
cards. I never thought about the video having a problem with a bios flash.
But I had tried the video card issue and had traded out a nvidia TNT2 based
card for a Asus Geforce 2 MX and still i was not getting anything to appear
on the screen but still was getting the floppy to read, cd-roms to spin-up
and hard drive spinning up. When a friend of mine used a creative card and
now that i think of it i dont remember what chipset was on the Creative labs
maybe it was S3 virge, not sure anyways when we installed this video card
the computer screen came up all was working. The fix lies in using the older
bios from FIC vda43nr.bin Bios. What was so unusual was that any nvidia
chipset video card i used it would not boot-up. Wonder if anyone else has
seen this with the FIC AZ11.

This isn't your exact problem, but shows that BIOS conflicts between the video card and the rest of the system can cause problems. More tips might be found by searching there.

Personally, I'd try a different video card. Is your time is worth $46 for a new Geforce 2 ABIT card (which presumably would work on your ABIT board)? [link|http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=48&manufactory=1283&DEPA=1|NewEgg Catalog for ABIT video cards]

Good luck.

Cheers,
Scott.
