New Marketing Hall of Shame.
Microsoft Is Microsoft calling its own customers "dinosaurheads?" The idea behind Microsoft's dinosaur ads that feature office workers with heads of a dinosaur is to tell the company's business customers that's it's time to upgrade to Microsoft's new operating system or risk missing out on new features and benefits.

"It's sophomoric and it doesn't work," said O'Keefe. "First, Microsoft is demeaning its own customers who are already using its products by implying they're dinosaurheads if they don't upgrade quickly. But what's worse is Microsoft saying that the new system it wants people to upgrade to is now going to be delayed. This is a huge embarrassment for Microsoft in the minds of consumers."

New Well, when your whole mesage is
"Look what crap we were selling you yesterday" - it's hard to deliver it with dignity. I've been saying that for ages.
