Few things I notice right away - it feels lighter than my titanium, but much more rigid (the TiBook flexes quite a lot). The power supply is noticeably bigger and gets warmer. In fact, doing lots of disk activity (transferring files) it is quite the lap warmer.

Much has been made of the new brighter screen. Its nice - but I don't notice a huge improvement over the TiBook screen. It seems a lot of apps I've been using have been quietly updated to universal binaries without me looking such as Quicksilver and Textmate. Cool. Been tossing the PPC ones in the trash and have downloaded DeerPark - a beta of Firefox for Intel.

Moving about 60G of files over firewire took about 2 hours. Downloading the new XCode now as I have a bunch of stuff to recompile (like a Squeak VM among other things). Otherwise, its been quite seamless and its a lovely machine. More later.
