Yeah, I know it's almost spamming. Still...
When somebody asks you to trade your freedoms for security, it isn't your security they're talking about.

New And I'm out the other side!
Nary a windows app in sight. :D

New Woot!
Congratulations. :-)

Are you able to do work-type stuff at home (even if you don't need to)? Any gotchas that are biting you with Ubuntu that you haven't been able to work-around?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Not yet.
I haven't punted into Windows in some time. There are some minor issues with e-document signing I ran into, and I'm going to have to do some heavy-duty resume tweaking (my old one used tables in Word, that doesn't work too well in OpenOffice.) to make things work right.

I did pick up a subscription to Cedega, so I can meet my crack addiction occasionally though...

New Try AbiWord
Much lighter weight than OO, and so far I haven't had any problems sending and receiving Word docs.

New I prefer abiword as well but...
it doesn't handle embedded objects as well as OO does. So you need OO around.

Cheers,
Ben
