Click the BURN button. - OR - Select the IMAGES menu, then BURN option. Either method will prompt for the image and where to burn it. Just brought it up, selected an iso from the list on left panel, clicked the burn icon and the CD tray opened, a dialog box displayed asking for a disk to be inserted. I've made bootable disks this way before, I don't understand if you're getting something else. Have fun, Carl Forde

I know you can't use just any old CDRW with OS X. Different models will have various levels of support and may work with some, but not other, programs under OS X. Back when I had the G3 I upgraded the CDRW and made sure I got one that supported all the programs.
