Cat proof your computer
"PawSense is a software utility that helps protect your computer from cats. It quickly detects and blocks cat typing, and also helps train your cat to stay off the computer keyboard."

Apparently it's real, too
It reads so much like a good joke, but it seems to be legit.

Wonder if they have a dog version too
For those of us who suffer with little toy dogs running everywhere.

Overkill
Fetch across a busy highway works as well, with plausible deniability.

Bah.
If you're going to murder a small, defenseless animal, you've got to do it with style.

That's a cat.
I was referring to those little yippy dogs.
Anybody who thinks a cat is defenseless had better be used to bleeding profusely. Even the declawed ones will bite on a whim.

Ahhh, you've clarified it
Small dog != Yippy dog (well, not always)
We have a number of the small dogs (toy poodles) (not my choice) but none of them make any noise until something invades thier turf, like one of the girls bringing a new boy home for the first time. It our dogs were the yippy kind, either they would be gone or I would be gone.

It's not the computer I need to keep the cats off...
It's my dinner! Little terrors like trying to get my dinner off my plate whilst I'm eating...
