...a number of years ago when Borland decided that they were going to release 3 full major-version (point-oh) releases per year, for a number of years running, and try to charge $3000+ per seat for the Enterprise version of them. $9000 per developer per year just for a Java IDE? Bullshit. This is why NetBeans and Eclipse are so popular in the Java world.
