Is there a law that you have to be able to produce a receipt for everything in your restaurant? If so, that's bullshit. If not, what's the basis for telling him to dispose of it? What does the fact that it's a guinea pig have to do with it?

New Usually there is a law about receipts
it's how they ensure that all the food in the restaurant meets food safety standards. They can look at the receipt and know if it came through an approved vendor whose food has all been inspected.
