New In that case, you need a proper title to justify the balance
sheet. You Engineer Solutions based on current and researched solutions. You introduce them into the enterprise and keep the ops folks up to speed. In my current shop they call that engineering, in Siemens they called it Customer Service Level 3/4 last gig was architect. So Chief Architect/Engineer of some sort.
Architect sounds less technical tho.
