This is, of course, just after all friends and family have finished their christmas shopping... My Shuffle is doing the orange-and-green-lights-of-death thing. It doesn't like either my Mac or my PC. Whatever I've done to offend the iPod gods, I'm really, really sorry! Two out of three people wonder where the other one is.

It doesn't cause me to panic either. If it breaks in a few years, I'll get her another one. If it breaks in a few months, I'll scratch it off my list forever. It's already paid for, so there's nothing to be done in any event. Thanks for the info.
