New How do I pass the database password
I need to merge 147 access databases in to one database. Each of the source databases are password protected. I am using DoCmd.TransferDatabase acLink, "Microsoft Access", strDSN, acTable, "ID_PW", "ID_PW" to pull in each database, but I am prompted each time to enter the password. Since this will be a recurring program, I'd like to be able to pass the password instead of being prompted for the password.

Have to open database first. then link. If database is NOT password protected, then the link will automatically perform the open prior to linking.
