Welcome to IWETHEY!

New As long as we're taking Firefox out for a spin...
...the following page/image have been giving Firefox problems for some time. Prior to 1.5, nothing showed up in the image space. With 1.5, at least it draws the box where the image is supposed to go. Still no image though...

[link|http://www.angelfire.com/tx4/cus/test/banner.html|Embedded image not showing].

[link|http://www.angelfire.com/tx4/cus/test/banner.jpg|Direct link to image works fine].

The html is rather simple:

\n <html>\n <head><title>Test</title></head>\n <body>\n <img src='banner.jpg' width='530' height='50' />\n </body>\n </html>\n

New Safari works like Firefox, then.

New Filling in the missing standard pieces:
[link|http://www.angelfire.com/tx4/cus/test/banner2.html|Still missing image], but at least this revision should be a little friendlier to the validator. :-)

\n <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">\n <html>\n <head><title>Test</title></head>\n <body>\n <img src='banner.jpg' width='530' height='50' alt='missing' />\n </body>\n </html>\n
New Still nuffink, guv.
Safari 2.0.2.

New Dunno what to say...
...But I see the image in both places. I'll take screenshots now (while posting) and link to them from my site. Look at the right-most two tabs; those are the tabs I'll take screenies of. Firefox 1.0.7 on Ubuntu Linux.
