Got dual Xeon ML 350.
6 SCSI disks on MB SCSI channel.
I wanted to do mirror boot and swap, raid5 / (root) and /var.
Went through the initial carving of partitions, tell them to use for RAID.
Went through the md create, picking and choosing as needed.
Devices were created, formatted, and Ubuntu was installed.
Dies on reboot.
WTF?
Seems like the kernel does not have the devices required to handle booting from the RAID volumes.
Reinstall using Debian Sarge - worked fine.
Tell me again why I should be using Ubuntu?
