with the caliber of tea brewed in UK/Ireland...it is completely unecessary (and unwarranted) to spoil it with milk/cream.

Never had better tea than breakfast tea in St Andrews...I'm sure there are places where the tea is (slightly) better...but sitting in front of a picture window overlooking the Old Course and beach with a fine cup of tea was a one time in life experience.
