I wonder how they work the story. All the Terminator parts were supposedly destroyed in T2. Maybe they invoke a cheesy "oh we found another part" plot sequence. :(

I don't recall anything about them "breaking the mold" after building The Terminator(Arnold). Combine that with the time travel inherent in the series and it should be easily explainable.

Many IT departments do it in real life, why not the company that made Terminators?

Yes so they destroyed the Terminator parts, but what about the data they collected on those parts?

For Pity's sake, the Doctor that was examining it had an old Atari ST system at home with files on the AI parts, what about the other people working on the project? D'oh!
