Give him 15 years and I might take a crack at him! (I'M KIDDING!)

Seriously, you have a beautiful son.

Welcome to Hollywood.
New Adorable!
I got you beat, though, on the blonde hair and blue eyes. All three of my offspring were/are such. The delightful female unit is still blonde.

Still, can't help falling for Antonio's smoldering eyes.

Oh Freddled Gruntbuggly!
New Here's mine! Here's mine!
As long as we're showing off our kids.......

Here's pictures of them on the first day of school this year and a snarky self portrait of myself I threw in. My daughter is the only blue-eyed one in the bunch. Not sure who carries the recessive gene for those.

New Cuties!
What a beautiful batch of kids. Yours and Christian's. Nice pic of you both as well. It's fun to see what yall look like.

Laura, how old are your kids? My daughter is 9 and in 4th grade. Followed by Mike, 15, a HS freshman, and Andrew, 18, a college freshman. (Yes, we need to update the photo :-/)

Surprise! I don't look like that anymore. My hair is short now, and is also a dark auburn. (It's too hard to grow hair out and maintain the blondness.)

Thanks for the pics!
Peace,
Amy

Oh Freddled Gruntbuggly!
New Oh pshaw ... you maintain the blondness just fine

New Must. not. smack. Drew.
I got your blondness, pal. Right here....oops, nevermind.

Ha ha!
Amy

Oh Freddled Gruntbuggly!
New I change my hair color seasonally
Right now it is dark brown. I'm not sure what color it really is anymore, but judging from the roots there is a lot of gray in there.

My son Mitchell is 10- 5th grade. He hates everything about school except recess.
Emma is 6- First grade. She reports she is the smartest person in her class and is going to marry Nicky who sits across from her.

They are polar opposites. Emma is my mini-me. It's hard to get mad at her for painting the dog blue when I see so much of myself in her. Mitchell tends to take after his Dad, which is sometimes difficult because when I see a flash of his Dad in him I get a fleeting urge to smack him upside the head (which, for the record, I would never do because I love that little boy to death!)

New Pictures taken in a mirror...
Nice photos - thanks for letting us see them!

When I saw the picture in the mirror, I thought about this project on Flickr:

[link|http://www.flickr.com/groups/mirrorproject/pool/page1/|http://www.flickr.co...oject/pool/page1/]

Over 4,400 pictures in mirrors..

I apologize if this is too far off-topic.
New That's an interesting website
I think reflected images allow you to see things in your subject you wouldnt normally perceive.

And going further OT-Photograhy is my thing. I just bought that camera and was tinkering around with it when I took the picture in the mirror. It was a gift to myself after my divorce and I splurged and bought the best camera I couldnt afford with a Carl Zeiss lens. I absolutely love it. When I get around to it, I'll post some of my photos. I've even sold some to be used in marketing publications.

New My firstborn is a photographer
He is pursuing his associate's degree in photography at the community college with the intent to transfer to the Big School in two years.

He also works as a photog. for a company that takes pictures of Little League games. He is using some reeeaaaaalllly nice cameras (digital SLR's). Then the pics are downloaded, set-up for the parents and then printed out right there.
Neat little operation. He makes ten bucks an hour...woo hoo!

We also got him a Fuji S5100 for his birthday. Great website called Discount Foto.

Forgot to post a thought that occurred to me yesterday as a(nother) reply to Ben: Long before I became a father, I'd become an uncle (many times over).

And those tiny newborn nieces and nephews of mine -- at least some of them, AFAICR -- were actually a little *less* ugly than most other squalling little monsters.

New Now that I'm past yearning for babies
I find that I am highly selective as to which babies I care to hold or become attached. There are about 3 babies with which I am thorougly enamoured. (Sam Tilly is one of them. :-) )

I do know, however, that my children's babies will be the absolute, most adorable babies since my children drew breath. Hopefully, that won't happen for another 5 years or so.

Peace,
Amy

New I'm an uncle many times over as well
Only counting the ones who survived (one died of SIDS), I can think of 15 nieces and nephews offhand, and I'm pretty sure that my oldest brother has more than I am positive about. (In fact possibly more than he knows about. He won that paternity case but that was before DNA testing...)

Unfortunately, due to quirks of geography and a spread out family, I only got to see one as a baby. Since I was fairly young at the time, it did not make the impression that it should have.

Cheers,
Ben
