One bad consequence has been that it's turned me into a very angry person. I'm going to have to get past that somehow.

OTOH, it wasn't really my choice exactly. Well, you know, it's complicated. She's complicated, and she's been an angry person for a lot longer than I have. She even has good reasons to be angry; the only problem is that while the causes haven't been mine in the majority part, I have received the majority if not all of the fallout.
Negotiations are ongoing, but right now it's definitely off.

the death of a relationship always hurts. mourn the loss, but remember the good times you had together, but you can't start over by holding onto what you had. give yourself time to heal and to adjust to your new situation. you're fortunate to have friends who've been through similar whom you can talk with and think things through. take it easy and don't do anything you will regret.
