God said there would be floods and famines, fires and earthquakes, (not quoting this exactly because I don't like Revelation), and nation would turn against nation... this is nothing new, it was always coming... But even I, as a Christian, cannot condone those who say it was God's punishment of a sinful city. For me, God is a merciful God, a loving God... who allows things to happen, yes, and why, we may never know. But bottom line for me is that NO ONE DESERVED TO BE DESTROYED IN SUCH A FASHION and those religious freaks who are chanting all that balderdash... well they know where they can go straight to.
