was once a great national drop zone. Its dead now. I jumped there a few months ago for the first time.

The other thing a little weird is its right next to a shooting range, you hear gunfire constantly there. Just another one of those places where good landing accuracy can be a matter of life or death (in a whole new way).

Anyhow, there's no commercial aviation out of there.

It may be back in a bit.

Note that as of today, the Draconian flight restrictions are removed. Yes, folks, once again you too may pilot your light plane over a major city. More to the point, some other things (news and police choppers, sightseeing, aerial photography) will be much easier.

And skydiving. Have fun.
