New Speaking of which ...
Anyone have a recommendation for Windows Jabber server? We're looking at setting up IM internally, and want something where the communication doesn't leave our network. Looking at Jabber and Windows Messenger for now. They're open to Jabber, but I'd like to know someone's installed it on Windows before I make too strong a recommendation.

I have no idea how well it works; this is just Googlism.

Cheap as chips, too; $500 for 50 users.

It's more expensive than running jabberd, but you'll run up $500 in time spent quicker than you can say knife if you try and get THAT going on Windows.

On Linux, of course, it's about 20 minutes from zero to hero, and that assumes you've never done it before.

New Don't know if cost is an issue
Okay, it's always an issue. What I meant is how much of an issue.
