New Yep!
There was a funny story in the news a few days back. Apparently a UPS truck driver found a huge albino snake in the back of his truck. He quickly shut the door and called the humane society.

Turned out that someone had shipped the snake, and snake had managed to give his box the slip. The people expecting the snake got an empty box, and the snake hung out in the truck till the deliveries were almost done.

Fortunately, no one got bit, snake was returned to the person expecting it, and I haven't heard if charges were filed, but they probably will be, as UPS doesn't ship live animals.

New Should have sent it regular USPS
Depending on size, they will carry lots of different animals.
New It gets wierder.
I'm suspecting that the outgoing rules and the incoming rules don't always match.

I posted a harddrive to a buyer in Italy a while back. According to Australia Post, I have to check the receiver has an import license from the Italian Postal Service. I asked; he said it wasn't needed. So I sent it. *shrug* (Hmm. Maybe that's why he never got it... never thought of that.)
