New what happened to the undelete command?
windows 2k service packed to date. Laptop is broke getting a replacement as mouse isnt working. Created a spot on network drive called doc. Zipped all files into a doc.zip on the network doc directory. Deleted files from local doc directory. Opened window explorer. Selected docs and hit the delete button. Of course it wiped out the network doc that has all my files instead of the empty local directory doc. My recycle bin does not have the files. How can I get it back?
thanx,
bill

New I think you need to check on the remote machine.
Just a guess though.

Luck!

Cheers,
Scott.
New I didn't say they implemented it correctly, did I?

New Don't think undelete works on non-permanent files/folders
Network drives and memory keys are considered non-permanent. Only files from your hard disk are backed up in the recycle bin.
