Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Retirement Part 1
As I have mentioned before, I'm getting ready to retire the Air Force and move to Texas. I was originally looking at moving to Houston, but after some serious consideration, I've decided to retire in the same place I came into the Air Force (San Antonio). While this means longer trips to scuba dive the Gulf, it places me in an optimal location for military medical treatment and potential for GS jobs. If anyone knows of any openings in DBM, DBA, or even Lan admin I; I would appreciate the head's up.

BTW. don't expect part 2 for another several years. I am only 39 after all.

New Look at USAA.
(For those who don't know: They're a big insurance/financial/etc. conglomerate that limits its membership to current and former military people and their families.)

They're based in San Antonio, and I would think they have a pretty big operation there.

They list ~ 22 IT positions open in San Antonio including an Oracle DBA.

Luck with the transition!

Cheers,
Scott.
New Thanks, I'll check it out
