New What - you never heard/sang 'Blowin' in the Wind'?
Did they lock you in a closet in day care?

New Do I hear a list for "The Dylan Hour" being prepared?
;-) You do have [link|http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/subterranean.html|Subterranean Homesick Blues], don't you?

He also did some silly song that I can't find at the moment - he's laughing and cutting up with several other people during it. Probably some song about drugs. ;-)

His voice went to hell, but Dylan could write and perform some interesting [link|http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/|songs].

Cheers,
Scott.
New Funny
I've got about 5 Dylan tunes in the current (pre-edited) version of the playlist. Subterranean is one of those tunes. I have quite a bit of that list in my mp3 collection.

New Not really.
But if I had a hammer...

...there'd be no more folk singers.

And I'm no respecter of "The Classics" or the musical "Establishment".

New :-)
I'm curious about your musical taste: Did it change suddenly when you were young?

I really liked "The Damned" when I was in school in Cincinnati. That kind of stuff is too noisy for me now.

Cheers,
Scott.
New I don't think so
Although I did have something of an epiphany circa 1991, when I realised that I really, really liked The Orb. (Which I have a tendency to mingle with things like Napalm Death, Richie Hawtin and Qntal)

I've always had an ear for thrash/death metal, and I think that Tom Petty is a thousand times the singer/songwriter that Dylan is/was.

My musical taste doesn't fit neatly into any one category, apart from "hates folk music" :-)

I'm a metal head, too, but I do have a softer side. Must be the estrogen.
New I enjoy a good Peter Paul and Mary tune.
I like their PBS specials, too.
New Which one's that?

New The first song I sang to my daughter
in the hospital after she was born was "We Shall Overcome". It happened to be the song running through my head at the time. I wonder how this has shaped her little psyche.
New Now they are growing...
...that certainly has changed to "if I had a hammer!"
