New Need a registrar recommendation
I've got a couple of domains coming up for renewal. My current registrar wants US$19/year. I know I can get better than that. I could get better than that before all the new registrars jumped into the mix, so prices should have gone down, right?

New Undernic?
I just signed up for [link|http://www.undernic.net/|Undernic], but have not yet figured out how to activate my DNS entry. They claim to have free DNS services. If you already have a static IP somewhere else, you might want to consider this one. I think they are changing their servers and this is why my entry is not yet active.
New US$19/yr is very good.
I've registered my domain with Melbourne IT (specifically [link|http://www.inww.com|Internet Names World Wide]), mostly so there's someone in my timezone to ring up if I have to. Haven't needed to yet, fortunately, as their service is quite good. But they are currently charging US$35/year.

For reference, Network Solutions are charging US$25 for a 1 year registration of a new domain (hmm; I expected it to be a lot more) but I was annoyed to see the pricing was only offered quite late in the procedure. Besides, their customer service sucked a year ago and I don't have any reason to believe it's gotten better now they're a part of Verisign.

New DomainDiscover is quite good
More than $19/yr (IIRC it's $25) but it's worth the great accounts dept they have, and a real web interface for managing your domains. Unlike NSI, I was able to consolidate our company's six names into one account, for example.
