Post #209,349 by boxley 6/1/05 10:37:16 AM Reply	oracle remote DB access trying to troubleshoot websphere thin client by tring to ensure that the connection works for the command line so I know that sqlplus login/password@SID works if the SID is in the tnsnames.ora but how would I pass the ip address to that command if I am trying to hit a database that is not in the tnsnames.ora. (But now DataStage is caleld IBM Websphere Datastage blah blah, maybe I will). Good luck! Two out of three people wonder where the other one is.
