New Todd and other Mac types
while accessing a japanese web page and randomly clicking on kanji links to discover why I was redirected there, my disk starts thrashing heavily. In a ps -ax I saw /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Network* process. Well I had to reset as the machine froze. Upon restart a ps -ax does not reveal that object. Is anyone aware of what is going on? Went to that directory and ran a strings on the files and they appear to be compiled objects.
thanx,
bill

New Looks like NetworkConfig framework
was working overtime - it implements the Network Config preferences panel.

I have no idea why it ran away though. Was your network connection stable?

New it was until my harddrive started thrashing when accessing a
internet site. Since I wasnt and havnt looked at the framework in several days, have you heard of any outside malware that can access that area? That is where the firewall is kept.
thanx,
bill

Nope - haven't experienced any issues in a long while. -NT - (tuberculosis)

Surreptitious semblances scamper surrealistically, strewing scabrous solecisms, simpering sophistry - striving sententiously - still, scintillating serendipity seems South. Zymotic, yellowish xeroxed vellums unsatisfactorily trumpet simple rationales: querulous ponderings of nebulous musings. Let knaves justly invoke hoary genuflection, for early doth craven biliousness atrophy.
