if the other knobs look the same, take one of them off and show it your friendly neighbours GE spare parts representative.

Or just buy an in-oven thermometer so you won't have to guess at the temperature. :)

according to the GE site.

Try:

Under the left front burner.
Centered or on right side under lift-top cooktop.
On frame behind oven door.
On front of frame behind drawer.
On left leg behind storage drawer, broil drawer or kick panel.

GE's very good about maintaining available replacement parts. I can still get parts for my nearly 40 year old range.
