New Selling Auction Takedown Services
From Ed Foster's [link|http://www.gripe2ed.com/scoop/section/Columns|column]
Can you be kept from selling a used book on eBay? Apparently so, if the copyright holder's "enforcer" decides it doesn't like the looks of your auction. And eBay doesn't seem to mind.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
New Another right eroded :-(
It has long been established that you have the right to resell books that you have bought, no matter what the copyright holder thinks. That's fair use.

You can't print more to sell them. But you can sell the one you bought.

Cheers,
Ben
I have come to believe that idealism without discipline is a quick road to disaster, while discipline without idealism is pointless. -- Aaron Ward (my brother)
New Problems all around here.
The nature of the material makes it trivial to produce authentic looking copies. How is the publisher of such material to verify it is legit? Just about impossible. Since eBay sellers include a lot of less than ethical people, it's a real mess for everyone but the frauds.

New OT - mug shot
Dunno if it's Moz or the weather - but for some- time- your pic makes the little wheel spin.. and spin.. and it never finds that pointy shiny hat (with its visage below). Pic get nuked?

Use P2P for legitimate purposes!
New There may be screwed up router in your chain -
it works fine here.

New No router | No network. Persistent little glitch -
Recently reinstalled Moz 1.7.8 and it's apparently running on all 5 cylinders, not even the occasional mail-derived instant crash. So Far..
(Saw this same phenom before, though; now for many months == when the little ziwe wheel spins, there's an AG post below.)

Even copy/paste [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/images/ajg47d.jpg|http://www.aaxnet.com/images/ajg47d.jpg] into a new tab - gets full time throbber. It's not even a .png - though those work, as do Other .jpgs
(This with WW 'standard' and 'privacy' filters disabled.) I guess this test leaves Zope out of the loop..

Dial-up, regularly d/ls at 52K+. Doze 98-Lite, as always.
No networking enabled; no hdwr firewall ergo no router - just Zone Alarm + paranoid attention to clicky/clicky + run the usual malware sniffers.

No big deal, just marginally.. interesting.
Ah well, will prolly do the Fire, Thunder bit one evening when feeling masochistic.

New I think he means a box outside your house.
There may be a router between AG and you that is misconfigured. E.g. your ISP may be blocking it as a spam "protection" mechanism. Or perhaps Zone Alarm doesn't like it for some reason. Maybe?

Can you see the rest of his [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/|site] OK? If that works, does his [link|http://www.aaxnet.com/clove/ingredients/chili.html|chili] page work?

Luck!

Cheers,
Scott.
New Excellent! and_____ **D'OHhhh**
Not ISP playing Solomon.. but {sob}

Bloody f@#$^%#@*%^%$^$ HOSTS again;
Seems Brother Andrew is no longer at 206.117.x.yy

NOW: gots Red Hot Chili Beastware Disassembled, in livid colour

(And I thought -for various loose defs- I had renamed the sucker!
But I see that <one of the little-'i's> had restored it, as first-line of defense re doubleclick and other parasites, as go directly --> dervish/null in an TCP augenblick.)

Leading moi to wonder if moi will have enough functional little-grey-cells to Master OS-X and also chew gum ... and what was that other .. thing?

Gracias; +6 perspicuous
