As for the multiple part time - I had 4 different W2s last year and managed to pull down 97% of my current salary even with 3 months of down time.

Sometimes you gotta scramble. Not my choice of how to live, but doable for a little while.

New Maybe phrasing
I would do it it I had to...but I read the question as more of a "choose to" situation. I wouldn't choose to do that. I would need to be >forced< to do that.
