New Getting the mousewheel working in Firefox/Ubuntu 5.04?
So I'm in a bind - I'm trying to get the mousewheel working under Ubuntu 5.04/Firefox 1.02. Normally, I'd hit Google + whatnot, but I'm having some VERY strange network issues here. Not firewall related, I think QWest is having some weird routing issues. EVERY major search engine I can think of (Google, Ask Jeeves, Yahoo, even MSN) appears to be offline from this site. In addition, I can't get through to the Ubuntu wiki, so I'm sol there.

So, I have to rely on the IGM for now. :D

How does one go about this task? Mouse wheel appears to be working in Evolution, but not in Firefox. Any tips?

New Doing this is very simple.
Initially, the wrong mouse was chosen

dpkg-reconfigure -plow xserver-xorg

Answer the questions there properly.

OOPS, forgot to say, restart *X*. Or just reboot.
