Seen that..

Well, not live. Even years ago - 'wired for the web'. Ad in paper not explicit about your Rx, and at that time. But even CAT5 in the walls to central point - makes the rest trivial. Talkin 'bout SF Bay area o'course.

Certainly an easier thought than - doing nearby few houses, but I recall - yeah fershure: Cringely! Who appears to live a few miles from me - and wrote up a blurb about line-o-sight telescope, finding a house in Santa Rosa. Made a deal to pay the guy's DSL (or whatever) and let C. run a \ufffdwave thingie aimed at his house in Valley of the Moon, probably on or near a hilltop. (Dunno about latency, but it's only ~ 8 miles I'd guess)
