Got a two week gig
Migration project, as in from old desktop computers to new desktop computers. Can't give any details, other than that it pays better than I used to make, but it's two weeks tops. :P
I also have an interview tomorrow with a company that is looking for an "entry level" system administrator. This might give me a chance to move my career more in a direction that has a future...

Cool, maybe they'll find you indispensable
which is not ordinarily a good thing, but in this case it's just the ticket.
BTW, we have a migration going on too. We're rolling out Macs to replace Windows desktops on a trial basis. The plan is to let people choose. Guess what most people are choosing.

This is a good sign Thane.
A sign, that you are marketable. Only a few of us have been able to claim even short-term gigs right after the event.
Excellent.

I know I interview well.
I've had two seperate people on two separate interviews respond to almost every one of my answers with "Good answer!"
I'm optimistic that my former employer lost a great asset, and that their loss is my gain.
(Edit) I've also got Linux on my resume now. Not a whole lot, but it's in there. [link|http://www.oz.net/~inthane/resume.pdf|http://www.oz.net/~inthane/resume.pdf]
