Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Would have to be done in the browser.
Some variation on a Firefox Extension might be feasible.

The server only serves pages. Guess you could have client side javascript, but admin has been opposed to such devices in the past.
New True, would require javascript
Would need data from the server side, though, to provide the definition of "next needed forum". Anyone know of a way to craft a single link that will spawn several pages?

New Hey, I read you in your post. >:-)
New A Greasemonkey script...

Could scan the main forum page's DOM for links with the little red dot, and drop them into an array; then you just pop 'em off one by one.

New Greasemonkey

Is the new king of web-developer hype, now that AJAX is going mainstream; basically it's a Firefox extension that lets you write bits of JavaScript which run each time you visit a particular site. Kind of like the JS equivalent of user CSS. More info [link|http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/|here].
