I'm planning that as well...
It is just that an important conversation about cords and computers is more likely to happen when baby discovers the same if baby discovers them while dad is actively using said equipment.
Which indicates to me that keeping equipment away when not in use is a good thing.
Besides which, my wife has brought home babyproofing recommendations that includes avoiding having electrical cords near babies. Even if I think that leaving them there is a good idea (which I do not), I'm not about to open that discussion with her.
