Sony better get some product litigation lawyers ready
because other people might claim that their Playstation shocked them or whatever. Once one report comes in, all the paranoid people will start thinking that their Playstation is out to get them. Water and the Playstation, apparently, do not mix?
"Do not allow the product to get wet" or whatever the equivalent is in lawyerspeak. It's the kind of standard warning you see in pretty much all consumer electronics - the cute cartoon of the sad-faced VCR being left near an open when it's raining, etc.
So a company lawyer could quite correctly state "Told ya so!".
On and on and on and on, and on and on and on goes John.
