No really, it is a matter of opinion. Tell me Jim, what if XFce's core demographic?

New Well...

Mostly they target people who like GTK but don't like GNOME or want something more lightweight. The file manager is a POS, but it's not required; xfce's whole architecture is modular, so you only install what you want. I have it on this machine because I wanted to give it a spin, but after about ten seconds I went back to ROX.
