Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Not having used it, a pure guess:
DrooK omnplains:
From the command line, CLASSPATH is empty,
Maybe that's the problem?

so somewhere in Ant, Tomcat and/or JRE configs are settings that resolve where stuff is installed.
Maybe the problem is that there aren't? (As in, if the CLASSPATH env-var is empty, *no wonder* the IDE thinks "the classpath is incomplete"...(?))

But I can't figure out how to get Eclipse to find what it needs.
Have you tried setting the CLASSPATH environment variable before starting the IDE?

Not that I have the fucking faintest; just guessing... HTH, anyway.

Your lies are of Microsoftian Scale and boring to boot. Your 'depression' may be the closest you ever come to recognizing truth: you have no 'inferiority complex', you are inferior - and something inside you recognizes this. - [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/render/content/show?contentid=71575|Ashton Brown]
New Left a detail out of my description
From the command line, everything works. I can compile, test, deploy and serve everything just fine. It's only the IDE that is complaining about the lack of CLASSPATH.
