Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Mmmm-
That sounds good. Might make it tonight. When it's warm enough to drag the grill out I usually like to grill asparagus. I coat it with some olive oil, lemon juice and garlic and toss it on the grill. Will have to wait at least another month to do that.
It's like, "How much more black could this be?", and the answer is none. None more black.
New OMG!
There is something that both bionerd and Andrew will eat!

/me falls over

Cheers,
Ben

New That's not really surprising.
What I consider edible is just a lot wider in scope than what she finds appetizing. In fact I have a large repertory of excellent vegetarian dishes since meat is normally a minor constituent of my diet. Right now I'm studying critter cuisine so that's what I've been mentioning.

Actually I consider cooking meat almost cheating because the critter has already done most of the work and there's not a lot left to do except not ruin it. Vegetarian cooking is more challenging and requires greater skill and planning.

I also realize that a day job gutting gophers for divination might not leave one salivating at the prospect of stewed carcass with entrail sauce for dinner.

New You can come over and cook for me anytime
I'm sure it's loads better than what I produce.

New A month? Where do you live?
I'm in Canada, and we're grilling now. Went up to a balmy 7°C today; that would be ~45° for you yanks.

'Course, we did do some all winter, but the frequency goes way down between late November and early April.

New Michigan
But the grill's in the garage for the winter and I'm sure there's lots of spiders under the cover. I'm not touching it until it's warm enough outside to blast it with the hose.

New A cat may help
Rather than having crawling spiders you could have legs and spider bodies scattered around!

Cheers,
Ben

New For spiders you need a chicken.
A stray chicken was hanging around (escaped from the Chinese up the street) when I moved a wood pile. No spider lived, guaranteed.

I have a problem here now with ceiling spiders. They must think I'm trying to go Goth or something - webs everywhere. Going to have to hussle them all outside soon.
