Welcome to IWETHEY!

New well the rapture is sure gonna be interesting
I would not read the left behind series anymore than watch one of the jihadist beheading movies, not that interesting, kinda like hard core porn with the sound off.

Heres a prophesy and heed it. If the rapture comes a lot of people who were expecting to be on that train are gonna find out they are not. Now they have lived lives of fear and penance and find out it wasnt enough. What is their likely reaction?
G_d help the poor ordinary heathens, there will be violent retributin as all those emotions, wants and needs held in check for so many years will come boiling out.

The rapture will also be a wake up call for many to stop and think about the nature of life and death, those who had no religious calling may find one.

Interesting times indeed
regards,

I love her dearly, far beyond any creature I've ever known, and I can prove it, for never once in almost seventy years of married life have I taken her by the throat. Mind you, it's been a near thing once or twice.

New Rapture already happened
Witness the astounding lack of naked soaring pudgy bodies.

New Yup, already come and gone.
As I recall, the scriptures say Jesus would return to earth not too long after he left it, gather the faithful and depart. So that event happned a long time ago, and, of course, nobody noticed because everyone was busy with something else.

Problem here: how do we fix the budget when the rapture doesn't come?

New Lousy marketing
Had these wee timorous beasties hired theyselves an H.P. Lovecraft, gotten out some posters of what these [things that go bump in the night] Look Like... they coulda built on that solid Fear-base whence Puritanism was spawned.

As it is now, these soap opera books are merely borrring B-grade Reality Tee Vee scripts, just with the right code words sprinkled in - but No Great Pix. Ya Gotta have pix! when yer dealin with dead, fossilized imaginations (and all that suppressed visceral stuff, unbeknownst).
