New Coen Brothers' |The Man Who Wasn't There|
I saw this last night: wow.

The Coens obviously love film noir, and really understand how to film it. Billy Bob Thornton can really act, and the whole thing was just great. When you go in, however, expect something in the vein of Miller's Crossing or Blood Simple rather than The Big Lebowski or The Hudsucker Proxy -- what humor there is comes in black.
New Lagging behind...
...the wife bought an earlier one of their movies - Oh Brother, Where Art Thou - a couple of days ago. Mostly an excuse for a movie that's an excuse for bluegrass music but since I have a soft spot for the genre I enjoyed it. My son can practically recite the movie by heart now as he loves the southern accents. Lotsa inside jokes between him and me about the lines in the movie. :-)
