For the first time in my life...
... I'm an Apple product owner. Unless you count the Apple ROMs I have for my Atari. ;-)
The new wireless keyboard and mouse arrived today. The Mini won't ship for a few more weeks.

Well that gives you a few weeks
to work on developing a sense of smug superiority :) ie: Welcome to the fold!
Which suddenly makes me think - is running Debian on a Mac the one true path to iwethey nirvana? (or only if it can dual boot to OS/2?)
Two out of three people wonder where the other one is.

Nope, no Debian.
OS-X all the way, bay-bee. Especially since this is a machine for my wife and son.

Well, you CAN use Fink which is a port of Debian's apt-get packaging system to get some Debian-y goodness.

There's even a GUI-based fink control called FinkCommander.

I love her dearly, far beyond any creature I've ever known, and I can prove it, for never once in almost seventy years of married life have I taken her by the throat.
