The way [link|http://store1.yimg.com/I/everythingofficefurniture_1829_42891435|my desk] is designed, the iMac is on a raised platform so I have to tip the top towards me. This causes the sound from the built in speakers to reflect away from me.

[link|http://www.dvforge.com/portbuddy.shtml|Port Buddy] - Neat idea for easy-access to the ports. Don't think I'd get it though as I already have easy access to plugs via a USB hub located in the compartment below the raised platform the iMac is on.
