Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Happy Birthday, Skip! (as in imric)
Sorry it's late in the day. You happen to share my son's birthday, but he's a year younger. Anyway, my wife and I were vising him this weekend and came back home to a dead RoadRunner/cable that finally got fixed.

Did you actually make that trip to NJ?
Alex

As hopeless as it seems in the middle,
Or as finished as it seems in the end.

New In case you missed it..
...it snowed quite a bit here :)

Would have loved to...but think maybe I might want to come south after this.

I hadn't originally planned to leave here - but the machine that hosts my sister's website (and incidentally my mail) went belly up. I was 'forced' to go up and hang out with many of my friends, drink beer, and go out in the snow. Oh yeah. Then I fixed the server.

The horror! *grin*

New Happy Birthday a day late
Sorry Imric, I've been swamped with real life family stuff, didn't get a chance to wish you a happy birthday yesterday. :(

Sounds like you had a nice one!

New Happy {brrrr} Birthday {brrrrrr}
Any excuse for hot buttered rum will do - that's oneof the few things I miss about Missing All that Snow.

Now as to another kind of snow.. perhaps you made it a rilly HAPPY birfday [?!]

I dunno. Better that _I_ lose count, I think... And probably more likely!

New Been there, done that
till my mom found out that I had been telling people I was older than I really was. For some reason she took exception to that.

Don't know how I did it, but for some reason I actually thought I was 2 years older than I am. This state of confusion lasted for a good 6 months before good old mom told me she didn't want people thinking *she* was older than she was.

A good friend will come and bail you out of jail ... but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "Damn...that was fun!"
New I'm usually close.
Since if I'm out I'm out by 1, I just look at the odd/even of the current year to correct. With other relatives, I do a "round to 10" thing, since I remember people's birth years, and then correct offsets.

New Ah, all the advantages of a 0 offset.
All except for 6 weeks or so, all I have to keep track off is the decades. On Jan 1, 1940, I was 0+, in 1950 I was 10+, in 1960 I was 20+, etc. 2005, I'm 65+.

Hey, I can do it in my head! :)
