Web cameras exposed on the net

There are a whole load of surveillance cameras that can be accessed by anyone over the internet. It is easy to find them with Google, see [link|http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/01/08/web_surveillance_cams_open_to_all/|Google exposes web surveillance cams].

It is amazing ewhat can be found with Google.

working as designed

all web enabled devices come with the default of wide open until someone sets me up. It also comes with instructions on how to set them up. Google simply crawls ip looking for interesting data and indexes it. cgi being considered interesting data and jpg also the same.
