Of particular concern is a nightly "news and commentary" segment titled "The Point", in which Sinclair vice president Mark Hyman consistently attacks progressives and prominent Democrats and ardently supports President Bush and conservative policies. We are hopeful advertisers will join our effort to encourage Sinclair to balance the content of their news programming by offering equal air time for a counterpoint. His vilification of the left is delivered in oh-so-reasonable terms with a jot of what passes for humor (wingless flies anyone?) to the fascist class. ----------------------------------------- How do you convince a Washington Journalist that you're not slapping him in the face? (hard - he stays out of meeja except at $preyer meetings with the Base-est) or Wm Kristol (often on Lehrer.. PBS is Soo chicken about picking pure polar opposites-signifying-Nothing). Wolfowitz may be the worst with the measured.. slow-talking reasonableness fa\ufffdade. This is modelled after Foulwell and his ilk IMO - he can speak oh so Sweetly of loving-the-sinner/HATING-the-sin, as he picks some toxin from Leviticus or distilled-Fear from Revelations.. with crocodile grin or faux-anguished-brow, interchangeably. Body language reveals all, if one wishes to See. Mostly, they Don't. Ugly. Ugly.
