You *can* remove apps, which will remove their icon - but you probably don't want to do that. A better way to do it is to put them in a category you won't use. That can either be UnFiled, an existing one, or you can create one (e.g. "Surplus"). In fact, you should probably put all the apps you use frequently in the one category.
You mean I can move them around in the categories? That's great! I'll research how to do that instead. Thanks!
