Book: Devil in the White City
Non-fiction by Erik Larson.
Tells the story of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair and of serial killer H. H. Holmes who made use of the fair's draw and confusion to prey on young women coming to Chicago.
Both stories are fascinating and the juxtaposition makes them more so.
I couldn't put it down.
