The timing of the count-down would be interesting to know
Is it a week long count-down or 2 hours?
Thanks, Ben

It all depends on the DNS updates and...
The lazy way the .COM TLD is updated.
Stuff is queued, stuff is polled... certain quantities are done others aren't.
Depends on the relationship the registrars have with the ".COM" TLD administrator is. (hint... what used to be called internic)

By "those responsible" you mean the registrars?
Or is there something else I'm supposed to be doing? I've got both of mine using the two old and two new nameservers.

Re: The count down begins.
I can't remember where the Fort's domain is held...
Once the move is completed, since it still has ns and ns1 as the servers, the DNS will work again, non?

I'm inclined to let it go then.
If the downtime is only a few days. Unless I can figure out how to get into their account.

I had to look mine up with a whois
I was pleasantly surprised -- okay, damn near shocked -- that my login credentials made it through the buyout.

All done...
keo-usa.com and BAW.com had their nameservers updated this morning.
Good to go.
