Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Address information and changes (IMPORTANT)
Okay, the T1 was installed today, but the service needs to be looped up.

My designation and info for my public network is:
66.80.246.64/26

Network IP: 66.80.246.64

Router IP: 66.80.246.65
My First Usable IP: 66.80.246.66
My Last Usable IP: 66.80.246.126

Broadcast IP: 66.80.246.127

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.192
Caution these are not going to be active until I get my router and firewall done.

New Nameservers, these are going to be transient, will be there until everything is settled:
ns2.gregfolkert.net == 66.80.246.92
ns3.gregfolkert.net == 66.80.246.90

These are going to be the changes used once services are transferred:
knight.gregfolkert.net == 66.80.246.91
king.gregfolkert.net == 66.80.246.90
lord.gregfolkert.net == 66.80.246.92

ns.gregfolkert.net == 66.88.246.91
ns1.gregfolkert.net == 66.88.246.66
Remember, knight.gregfolkert.net does 95% of the hosting. Therefore most everything will resolve to that address.

Also for those of you that I do not host the DNS for will need to add the 2 transients at your registrar. Then once I give the blessing, remove the transients and change the ns and ns1 entries to what they should be.

And, this really only effects the people that have stuff on my machine being hosted. The propagation shouldn't take long.

One thing, I have not added the DNS servers yet. They may not take at your registrar.

Watch here for more info.

No matter how much Microsoft supporters whine about how Linux and other operating systems have just as many bugs as their operating systems do, the bottom line is that the serious, gut-wrenching problems happen on Windows, not on Linux, not on Mac OS. -- [link|http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1759,1622086,00.asp|source]

New Okay to have the nameservers and third and fourth?
My registrar allows four. Do the transient ones (ns2 & ns3) have to be the first two?

Implicitly condoning stupidity since 2001.
New Redo.
Okay to have the nameservers and third and fourth?

Yes you can actually have 63 nameservers (at least that is what the protocol allows)

My registrar allows four. Do the transient ones (ns2 & ns3) have to be the first two?

No they do not have to be first.

So for now, you should have 4 nameservers in your list:
208.255.11.91 ; 208.255.11.66 ; 66.80.246.92 ; 66.80.246.90
or
ns.gregfolkert.net ; ns1.gregfolkert.net ; ns2.gregfolkert.net ; ns3.gregfolkert.net

Fun stuff.

P.S.
BTW, working on you setup this morn.
